Fiji Bati star Viliame Kikau has been honored with the 2024 Dr. George Peponis Medallist after a standout season with the Bulldogs in the NRL. Following a challenging previous year that limited him to just nine games, the 30-year-old enjoyed a remarkable turnaround, participating in 22 matches this season. Kikau scored four tries, assisted in another four, offloaded the ball 41 times, and broke through the defensive line on ten occasions. His international career began in 2015 when he made his debut for Fiji against Papua New Guinea in a Melanesian Cup match, contributing to a 22-10 victory while coming off the bench at Robina Stadium.
