The Fiji Football Association, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), is set to conduct a weeklong grassroots coaching course aimed at promoting women’s football in Fiji. According to Fiji FA Technical Director Timo Jankowski, this initiative offers a valuable opportunity for local coaches to engage with KNVB’s esteemed coaching education programs.
“KNVB is globally recognized for its high-quality coach education, and their involvement represents a significant advancement for football development in Fiji,” Jankowski stated.
The course will take place from October 7 to 11 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, training a total of 33 coaches. This group includes 31 Fijians from various professions, such as primary school teachers, players, and district coaches, as well as two participants from Tuvalu.
