In Atlanta, USA, a community event focused on free kava was held, thanks to a collaboration between Fiji’s Kava Korp and local business Kava Mama. The event invited hurricane survivors to enjoy free kava while fostering a strong sense of community.

Kava Korp, a state-of-the-art manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, made a generous donation to support the event through Kava Mama. Kava Korp’s director, John Sanday, highlighted Kava Mama’s significant contributions to promoting the kava industry in the United States. He emphasized that the partnership aims to assist communities affected by recent natural disasters, showcasing solidarity during tough times.

Sanday noted that Kava Mama is a leader in exporting kava bars in the U.S. and expressed gratitude for their efforts to invigorate the kava industry in Fiji and the Pacific. Although Kava Mama was contacted for comments, no response was received by the time of publication.
