Kava for a Cause: Atlanta Welcomes Hurricane Survivors with Free Fiji Kava

Kava flowed freely in Atlanta, USA, as an open invitation was extended through a partnership between Kava Korp and local business Kava Mama. The event aimed to support survivors of recent hurricanes, who were offered complimentary kava.

Kava Mama, based in Atlanta, expressed their hospitality to those affected by the natural disasters, highlighting a strong sense of community. This gathering followed a collaboration with Fiji’s Kava Korp, a modern manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, which made a significant donation to support the initiative.

John Sanday, director of Kava Korp, praised Kava Mama for its pivotal role in pioneering kava bar exports in the United States. He emphasized the company’s contributions to the growth of the kava industry in Fiji and the wider Pacific region.

“This is our way of assisting them in their recovery efforts and expressing our gratitude, showing solidarity during tough times,” Sanday stated. He also noted that Kava Korp is not the only company to have made contributions through Kava Mama. At the time of reporting, Kava Mama had not responded to inquiries.
