Kava Concerns: Methodist Church Faces Growing Challenges

During a week-long seminar focusing on evangelism, the World Methodist Church addressed the issue of kava overconsumption in Suva. Rev. Immanuel Reuben highlighted the growing concern over the number of church members leaving the congregation. To combat these challenges, he announced that additional evangelism programs are planned for 2025. The seminar attracted approximately 200 participants from across Fiji and the Pacific region during the day, while around 1,000 attendees participated in the evening crusades. The event concluded today.
