An event focused on free-flowing Fiji kava took place in Atlanta, USA, thanks to a collaboration involving Kava Korp.
Kava Mama, based in Atlanta, extended a warm welcome to survivors of recent hurricanes, offering them complimentary kava as part of the initiative. This community-oriented gathering was made possible by the partnership between Fiji’s Kava Korp and the American Kava Mama.
Kava Korp, a state-of-the-art manufacturing and export facility located in Colo-i-Suva, contributed significantly to the event. Director John Sanday highlighted Kava Mama’s pivotal role in establishing kava bar exports within the United States.
“Kava Mama has played a crucial part in advancing the kava industry in Fiji and the Pacific,” Sanday remarked. He emphasized that the gesture was a way to assist in the recovery from the destruction caused by the hurricanes, as well as to express gratitude and solidarity during difficult times. He noted that Kava Korp is not the only company involved in such charitable efforts. Kava Mama did not provide a response to inquiries from the media by the time of publication.
