Lemeki Senikau, the captain of the Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-17 rugby team, is focused on enhancing his kicking and positional skills ahead of the Vodafone Deans Trophy final scheduled for Saturday. His comments followed a convincing 38-11 victory against Ratu Navula College in the semi-finals, with Marist Brothers High School awaiting in the final match.
Senikau expressed the team’s reliance on divine strength and guidance for their on-field performance. “We will have to remain calm under pressure in the final against Marist Brothers High School,” he stated.
He attributed their strong performance to unity among teammates and dedicated the recent win to their parents, friends, and alumni. “We faced many challenges during our 13-week training program, but the players persevered,” Senikau added.
