The Kadavu Stallions women’s rugby team showcased their strength at the Fiji Bitter Kadavu Sevens tournament, which took place at the Namalata Primary School grounds in Vunisea, Kadavu. In the women’s cup final, they triumphed over the Deuba Rebels with a convincing score of 43-0.
Team manager Josevata Rove commended the squad for their consistent performance throughout the tournament, emphasizing their effective teamwork and solid execution in several areas of the game. “The team has been consistent throughout the tournament,” Rove stated. “In our match, the girls demonstrated dominance in all aspects, including tackling, defense, and passing, all of which were solid throughout the game.”
Although they competed against only three other teams in the sevens tournament, the Kadavu Stallions clearly established their superiority on the field.
