The Kadavu Stallions women’s rugby team excelled at the Fiji Bitter Kadavu Sevens tournament, which took place at the Namalata Primary School grounds in Vunisea, Kadavu.
In the women’s cup final, the Stallions triumphed over the Deuba Rebels with a remarkable score of 43-0. Team manager Josevata Rove commended the team’s consistent performance throughout the tournament, noting their effective teamwork and solid execution in various aspects of the game.
“The team has been consistent throughout the tournament,” Rove stated. “Looking at our match, the girls demonstrated dominance in all areas, including tackling, defense, and passing; everything was solid throughout the game.”
Although they competed against just three other teams in the sevens format, the Kadavu Stallions showcased their superiority on the field.
