The Kadavu Stallions women’s rugby team triumphed at the Fiji Bitter Kadavu Sevens tournament, which took place at Namalata Primary School grounds in Vunisea, Kadavu. In the women’s cup final, they achieved a remarkable victory over the Deuba Rebels, winning with a score of 43-0.
Team manager Josevata Rove commended the players for their consistent performance throughout the tournament. He emphasized their excellent teamwork and execution in all facets of the game. “The team has been consistent throughout the tournament,” Rove remarked. “In our match, the girls showcased their dominance in tackling, defense, and passing, all of which were solid throughout the game.”
Even though they faced only three other teams in the sevens competition, the Kadavu Stallions clearly demonstrated their superiority on the field.
