The Kadavu Stallions women’s rugby team showcased their dominance at the Fiji Bitter Kadavu Sevens tournament held at Namalata Primary School grounds in Vunisea, Kadavu. In the women’s cup final, they achieved a remarkable victory over the Deuba Rebels, winning with a score of 43-0.
Team manager Josevata Rove lauded the team’s consistent performance throughout the tournament, emphasizing their strong teamwork and effectiveness in various facets of the game. “The team has been consistent throughout the tournament,” Rove stated. “Looking at our match, the girls showcased dominance in all areas, with solid tackling, defense, and passing throughout the game.”
Despite competing against only three other teams in the sevens tournament, the Kadavu Stallions firmly established their superiority on the field.
