An unemployed man from Tokotoko, Navua, was arrested on Saturday night for allegedly possessing illicit drugs after police executed a search warrant at his home. The operation involved the Fiji Police Force and the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU), with trained K9 Herb leading the search.

During the investigation, authorities discovered 171 dried plants believed to be marijuana. These plants were found concealed in various locations, including underneath a mattress, inside a bedroom wardrobe, and beneath a kitchen table. The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
