Jonathan Hill Aims to Achieve Knockout Success

Jonathan Hill is determined to secure a knockout victory in his upcoming professional fight against Rupeni Rokoratu in Labasa next month.

The 31-year-old boxer, and older brother of Winston Hill, has been rigorously preparing and is confident in his abilities.

Hill’s primary objective is to win the fight decisively and improve his ranking in the super middleweight division.

“I have been training hard with my brother Winston, and we’re both feeling ready for the fight. My main goal is to knock out Rokoratu and move up in the rankings in the super middleweight division,” said Hill.

“If I can beat him, I might even get a shot at a title fight.

“This will be my first time facing Rokoratu, but I’m not too worried. I see it as just another challenge in the ring. My son is my biggest motivation to win this fight.”

Despite not studying his opponent, Hill is focusing on honing his own abilities.

“I haven’t spent too much time concentrating on my opponent because I’ve been focused on improving my own skills and strength. Having Winston by my side during training has been a big help too.”

Hill is looking to continue his success in the sport and aims for a championship title in the future.

“This will also be my first time fighting in Labasa, so I’m excited for that. In my last fight in Suva, I won in the super middleweight division, but I felt a bit out of shape. This time, I’m working on improving my fitness so I can perform even better,” Hill added.

“After this fight, I’ll be aiming for the super middleweight title in Fiji, and maybe even the light heavyweight title. I’m determined to keep climbing up the ranks and I’ll be ready to take on anyone who holds those titles after I face Rokoratu.”

The promotion will be held on August 10 at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Meanwhile, Winston Hill will feature in the main bout against Roy Ser of Vanuatu.
