Twenty children associated with WOWS Kids Fiji recently spent two memorable nights at the Mana Resort Island in the Mamanucas. This annual event is facilitated through a partnership with Mana Island Resort, providing both mothers and children a joyful escape from their routines.
Kimberly Smart, a board member of WOWS, noted that many of the children may only have the chance to enjoy such experiences once due to the unpredictable nature of their cancer diagnoses. “We strive to provide them with the best experiences,” Ms. Smart stated. “Our focus is on the kids, while also allowing parents to relax and enjoy a holiday away.”
She expressed appreciation to Hiroshi Matsumoto, the chief operating officer of Mana Island Resort, for his vital support in organizing this occasion. “We have been arranging this trip for several years, and it brings us joy to see the kids come together and create happy memories.”
