Several male students at a secondary school in Cakaudrove are currently being investigated for allegedly raping a fellow male student in a school dormitory. Senior Superintendent of Police Kemueli Baledrokadroka, the Divisional Police Commander for the North, confirmed that an investigation is underway but noted that it is still in the preliminary stages. He did not provide additional details about the case. SSP Baledrokadroka highlighted that such incidents illustrate the negative consequences that can arise when students are either unsupervised or influenced by certain factors. The Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, is also aware of the situation. The individuals involved in the incident, including the victim, are all aged between 14 to 17 years.
