Vasemaca Ratusaitadra has celebrated a significant milestone by earning a degree from the University of the South Pacific (USP), reflecting perseverance and dedication throughout her academic journey. This achievement comes after five years of hard work, having commenced her studies in 2019 and recently receiving her Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management.
Hailing from Nasegai, Ravitaki, Kadavu, Vasemaca acknowledges that her success is attributed to making the right choices and fulfilling her responsibilities. She expresses gratitude to her family for their continuous support during her studies, which were particularly challenging due to the responsibilities of work and other commitments over the past year.
Vasemaca is one of six graduates who have achieved this noteworthy accomplishment from USP. She serves as an inspiration for her peers, highlighting the importance of striving for academic excellence even in the face of hardship, such as the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite facing obstacles, including a lack of a laptop to complete assignments, Vasemaca remained resilient and focused. She intends to pursue further studies and continues to emphasize the need to work hard while placing her faith in God.
