Suva is facing injury challenges as they gear up for their final pool match against Taveuni in the primary schools inter-district competition taking place in Labasa. Coach Mohammed Hussain noted the critical role of their second goalkeeper in improving their chances of success in the upcoming game, as the team’s primary goalkeeper is currently injured.

Despite these obstacles, Hussain expressed confidence that his team would qualify for the finals. He stated, “We will come back stronger in our next game against Taveuni.” The coach acknowledged the need for improvement in their defense, which he identified as a vulnerability in recent matches during the competition.

Hussain emphasized the importance of reviewing past performances to address their shortcomings, saying, “We will go back to the drawing board to analyze our last games and see ways in which we can work on our errors.” Additionally, he pointed out that the changing weather conditions have impacted the team’s performance, with the players striving to adjust to the heat.

In their previous match against Navua, Suva achieved a narrow victory with a score of 1-0 and ended in a draw against Labasa.
