Indonesian Defence Attaché Makes Diplomatic Debut in Fiji

Colonel Eko Pur Indriyanto, the newly appointed Indonesian defence attaché to Fiji, recently made a courtesy visit to Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai, Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. This meeting took place on December 11, 2024, at the Strategic Headquarters located in Berkley Crescent.

Upon his arrival at the Strategic Headquarters, Colonel Indriyanto was welcomed with a quarter guard, signifying the importance of this diplomatic engagement. Following this ceremony, he participated in an official meeting with the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. Additionally, Colonel Indriyanto paid a visit to Brigadier General Onisivoro Covunisaqa, Commander Land Forces, at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua. This visit marks an important milestone as it is Col Indriyanto’s first official engagement since taking on his role as the Indonesian Defence Attaché in Fiji.
