The Indo-Pacific Army Management Seminar (IPAMS) concluded with a series of significant events and discussions. Delegation heads visited key sites including the Joint Taskforce Command of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, the UN Peacekeeping Center at Blackrock, and the Center for Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief. They observed a static exhibit demonstrating the capabilities of the JTFC, particularly its medical facilities housed within the HADR Warehouse.
In addition, the Senior Enlisted Leader’s Forum visited Delta Company, focusing on the evolving role of non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and their adaptation to the challenges posed by a dynamic global environment. A ceremonial welcoming took place, where RFMF Senior Enlisted Leaders greeted the forum participants.
The spouses of the delegates enjoyed a cultural excursion to South Sea Island, where they engaged in traditional activities such as basket weaving and making fans and caps, as well as witnessing traditional Fijian dance performances. This allowed them to immerse themselves in the rich culture of Fiji.
During the closing ceremony of the seminar, Major General Ro Jone Kalouniwai Logavatu, Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, officially wrapped up Fiji IPAMS 2024, expressing gratitude for the collective efforts to promote peace and freedom in the Indo-Pacific region.
