Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, held a meeting with the First Deputy Managing Director of the IMF, Professor Gita Gopinath, during the 2024 International Monetary Fund/World Bank Group Annual Meetings taking place in Washington DC, USA.
The discussions primarily centered on the current state of the global economy, the future outlook, and the risks posed by increasing geopolitical tensions and climate change.
