A woman has been taken into police custody following her arrest for allegedly selling alcohol without a license in Tacirua. Officers from the Valelevu Police Station conducted a raid last night on a shop suspected of illegal liquor sales, resulting in the confiscation of over 100 cans and bottles of alcohol. The 24-year-old woman was apprehended at the scene and is currently being held as investigations proceed. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu stated that such illegal enterprises often lead to other criminal activities, and their operations aim to disrupt these unlawful markets.
