Holi Masti: A Colorful Celebration of Unity and Joy in Fiji!

The FMF Mirchi FM and Radio Fiji Two Non-Stop Holi Masti event is currently in full swing at the Damodar City Carpark in Suva, attracting a substantial crowd that is reveling in the colorful festivities. Team Leader of Fijian Broadcasting Corporation’s Mirchi FM, Aziza Nisha, indicates that more exciting performances are anticipated as the evening unfolds, featuring a delightful blend of traditional and contemporary acts.

So far, the event has showcased performances including Chautal and Jogira, enriching the celebration with cultural diversity. “We have a huge number of crowd and we’re expecting more as we progress into the evening. Our entire team is here, so if you want to come and play Holi with us, you’re most welcome. We’re giving out colors in our FBC tent,” Nisha said.

The event began at 3 PM and is set to conclude at 8 PM, featuring a lineup of local talents, including dance groups and singers. Similar past events have emphasized the importance of Holi as a unifying festival, promoting harmony among different ethnic communities. Ashneel Singh, manager of Hindi Radio, highlighted the festival’s role in fostering social connections and cultural understanding among attendees.
