Holi Masti: A Colorful Celebration of Unity and Diversity in Fiji!

The Mata Dance Group is set to showcase their talents at the FMF Mirchi FM and Radio Fiji Two Non-Stop Holi Masti event tomorrow. Performances will include a variety of Bollywood dances and Indian cultural pieces, alongside Polynesian and Fijian contemporary styles.

Tevita Tobeyaweni, a member of the Mata Dance Group, expressed their excitement about participating in such a vibrant celebration, emphasizing the group’s diverse composition, which includes dancers from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. “We’re always hoping to leave the audience with something meaningful they can take back to their homes,” he noted, highlighting the group’s commitment to fostering unity and understanding through their performances.

The FMF Mirchi FM and Radio Fiji Two Non-Stop Holi Masti event is scheduled to take place at the Damodar City Centre car park from 3 PM to 8 PM tomorrow. The celebration is designed to be inclusive, welcoming people from all walks of life. Alongside dance performances, there will be entertainment such as live DJ music, traditional Jogira, and various food stalls, creating an exciting atmosphere for families and children alike.
