The 68th anniversary of the Miss Hibiscus Festival will see the historic release of its first music album, honoring the festival’s legacy. The album, produced by acclaimed local artist Apakuki Nalawa, is titled “Adi Senitoa” and will include up to six vibrant tracks, showcasing remarkable talent from the Resonance artist pool.
In blending tradition with innovation, the album features revamped classic songs, infused with new energy and interpreted by emerging artists. Additionally, it will present original pieces that encapsulate the festival’s spirit.
A highlight of this year’s festival is the debut of an all-female band, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of the event and promoting women’s empowerment in the arts.
All songs from “Adi Senitoa” will be performed live during the eight-day festival, offering a memorable experience that connects the festival’s rich history with its dynamic future, celebrating music, culture, and the lasting legacy of Miss Hibiscus.
