Shaenaz Voss, the former executive general of Corporate Affairs for Fiji Airways, and Sharun Ali, the airline’s general manager of Safety, Security and Quality, were questioned by police at the Nadi Police Station yesterday. Their lawyers accompanied them as they arrived shortly after noon for the interrogation by the Criminal Investigation Department officers from Suva. They were seen leaving the station after 5 p.m. Acting Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, confirmed that both individuals were interviewed under caution regarding a breach of the Civil Aviation Security Regulation from 2018. The investigation is ongoing.
