Hibiscus Queens Honor Elders: A Celebration of Generations

Leilbling Marlow, the inaugural Hibiscus Queen of Fiji, received a warm visit at Suva’s Pierce Home from Melania Tora, the reigning queen, along with her fellow Hibiscus Festival representatives, Pepe Melani and Martina Sigrah. This gathering not only recognized the contributions of senior citizens but also highlighted their significance in society. The theme for this year’s International Day of Older Persons is “Human rights across generations.”
