A man in his 40s lost his life while attempting to assist a homeowner whose residence was ablaze in Nadroumai Village, Nadroga, yesterday afternoon. The victim was reportedly trying to save items from a room when he suddenly collapsed. He was quickly transported to Sigatoka Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigations are ongoing, and a post-mortem examination will be performed to determine the cause of death.
