If you’re in Southern Bua or Cakaudrove, Kadavu, or any of the neighboring small islands, you might want to hold onto your hats—and possibly your umbrellas, unless you’re in the mood for a spontaneous swimming lesson!
An active trough of low pressure is sprinkling its charm over Fiji today, promising to keep us company until later on Sunday. So, prepare for winds whipping through at speeds of up to 46 km/h. That’s just enough to make your late pickup at the bus stop feel like an Olympic sprint. And remember, rough seas are expected too, so if you’re planning to sail, it might not be the best day to test your sea legs.
What’s on the agenda for tonight? Well, expect more fun with occasional rain, with heavy showers and a few thunderstorms making surprise appearances. Watch out for those isolated heavy falls that might lead to flash flooding in low-lying areas—nothing like a surprise water feature in your yard!
