Tokasa Nadagalu delivered a powerful message of love triumphing over hatred and darkness during her crowning as Miss Vodafone Gold ‘N’ Water 2024 at Garvey Park in Tavua last Saturday night.
The 19-year-old queen, sponsored by the vanua o Tavualevu, hails from Tavua Village and grew up with relatives after her father left her mother. Tragically, her mother passed away when she was just 14 years old.
“Never Give Up,” she urged her peers on the night of the event, expressing her gratitude to God for helping her secure the title.
Following her crowning, Nadagalu quoted Mother Theresa, saying, “Only love can drive out darkness and hatred.” She also expressed her appreciation to Vodafone Fiji, the event’s major sponsor, and her community sponsor, Krishna Goundar, for their support.
