The book “The Road to Parliament,” which chronicles the personal and political experiences of former National Federation Party leader Harish Sharma, was launched at Jai Narayan College yesterday.
Harish Sharma has held significant positions, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Housing, Urban Development, and Information following the 1987 General Elections.

Professor Prasad described the book, “The Road to Parliament – A glimpse into the life of Hon Harish C Sharma,” as a testament to Mr. Sharma’s humility, kindness, integrity, and honesty. He shared details of Mr. Sharma’s difficult childhood, including the loss of his biological mother at just one year old and the challenges he faced while growing up in a rural environment, where he often worked under tough conditions.
