Renowned spiritual and humanitarian leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is set to visit Fiji from October 25 to 28. He is the founder of the Art of Living foundation, established in 1981, which has provided spiritual teachings to over 500 million individuals in 180 countries.
Rekha Khunteta, the international director of the Art of Living Foundation, stated, “Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s contributions to global peace, conflict resolution, and the promotion of human values have earned him numerous accolades.” She emphasized that his philosophy transcends the traditional barriers that often separate societies, uniting diverse groups in a spirit of togetherness and shared human values. “His presence will foster wellbeing and uplift the nation,” she added.
During his visit, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will conduct a Laxmi Havan at Churchill Park on October 25 and will meet with President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere the following day. On October 27, he will host a cultural and wisdom evening at the Vodafone Arena, and on October 28, he will engage with students from the University of the South Pacific (USP).
