As the Spartan Race approaches in Fiji from November 14 to 17, local sports figure Winston Hill is invigorating the community with complimentary training sessions. Hill, a celebrated boxer and fitness advocate, is leading the charge to prepare for the event, which will again take place in the picturesque Sabeto region.

“This is an exhilarating experience, from the training to the race itself,” Hill stated, reflecting on last year’s event that drew thousands, including locals, tourists, and overseas athletes eager to participate.

The Spartan Race is famed for its demanding obstacle courses, attracting a loyal group of international competitors who travel globally for a chance to take part. Fiji, combining leisure and adventure, is an ideal location for both tourism and Spartan activities.

“It’s a privilege for us to host this event once again,” Hill remarked, praising Sabeto’s excellent weather and beautiful landscapes.

For those looking to train, Hill is offering free Spartan training sessions every Friday at his gym in Toorak, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

“The goal is to engage the community and provide high-quality training programs for free, inspiring more people to participate,” Hill explained. “It’s an epic way to challenge yourself before the year ends.”

He also encourages participants to visit www.fijispartan.com for details, advising against the Australian site to avoid increased registration costs. With just over a month remaining until the Spartan Race, anticipation is mounting, and Hill’s initiatives are helping prepare Fijians for this ultimate test of endurance and strength.
