Spread the love

As the Spartan Race is set to return to Fiji from November 14 to 17, local sports icon Winston Hill is invigorating the community with complimentary training sessions. Hill, a celebrated boxer and fitness advocate, is taking the lead in preparing for the event, which will once again be held in the picturesque Sabeto region.

“This is an exhilarating experience, from the training to the race itself,” Hill stated. He noted that last year witnessed thousands of participants, including locals, tourists, and athletes traveling from abroad to compete.

The Spartan Race is recognized for its tough obstacle courses and attracts a dedicated group of international competitors who travel globally to participate. Fiji offers a distinctive blend of adventure and relaxation, making it an attractive destination for both holidays and the Spartan Race.

“It’s a privilege for us to host this event once again,” Hill emphasized, highlighting Sabeto’s ideal weather and breathtaking scenery.

For those interested in preparing for the race, Hill is conducting free Spartan training sessions every Friday at his gym in Toorak, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. “The goal is to engage the community and provide high-quality training programs at no cost, encouraging more individuals to register,” Hill explained. “It’s an epic way to challenge yourself before the year ends.”

He also recommends participants visit www.fijispartan.com for registration information and to steer clear of the Australian site to avoid higher fees.

With just over a month to go until the Spartan Race, enthusiasm is rising, and Hill’s initiatives are assisting Fijians in preparing for this ultimate test of endurance and strength.
