As the Spartan Race approaches in Fiji, scheduled for the 14th to the 17th of next month, local sports legend Winston Hill is rallying the community with complimentary training sessions.
Hill, who is a well-known boxer and fitness advocate, is leading the charge in preparing participants for the event, which will again take place in the picturesque Sabeto region.
“This is an exhilarating experience, from the training to the race itself,” Hill expressed. “Last year, we had thousands joining in – locals, tourists, and even athletes flying in from abroad to take part.”
The Spartan Race is famed for its demanding obstacle courses and attracts a committed cohort of international athletes who travel globally to compete. Fiji serves as both a vacation spot and a Spartan venue, offering a distinct blend of adventure and relaxation.
“We are privileged to host this event once more,” Hill noted. “Sabeto is an ideal setting, thanks to its excellent weather and breathtaking landscapes.”
For those eager to get in shape, Hill is offering free Spartan training sessions every Friday at his gym in Toorak, running from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
“The aim is to engage the community and provide top-tier training programs at no charge, motivating more individuals to register,” Hill explained. “It is an epic opportunity to push yourself before the year concludes.”
He also recommends that interested participants visit www.fijispartan.com for details and steer clear of the Australian site to avoid inflated registration fees.
With just over a month until the Spartan Race, anticipation is growing, and Hill’s initiatives are assisting Fijians in preparing for this ultimate test of endurance and strength.
