Gala Night for Health: Navua Hospital’s Bold Fundraising Move!

The Navua Hospital Board of Visitors organized a Black Tie Dinner & Dance fundraising event at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour over the weekend, aiming to gather funds for the maintenance, upkeep, and renovations of Navua Hospital.

During the event, Dr. Luisa Cikamatana, the Chief Medical Advisor of the Health & Medical Services Ministry, addressed the guests, sharing the Ministry’s vision for a healthcare system that is proactive, empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and addressing the needs of each person regardless of their situation.

Dr. Cikamatana emphasized the importance of community support in making this vision a reality, stating, “To turn this vision into reality, we need your support more than ever.”

She remarked that the contributions made by attendees extend beyond financial aid, representing a beacon of hope, a demonstration of compassion, and a commitment to meaningful change.

Tickets for the Black Tie event were priced at $120 each.
