Fuel prices will decrease slightly starting tomorrow.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has set new regulated prices for Unleaded Petrol (Motor Spirit), Premix, Kerosene, Diesel, and LPG products for October 2024.

“The new prices take effect on Tuesday, 1 October 2024,” the Commission announced.

“The prices established by the FCCC are the maximum wholesale and retail prices, meaning wholesalers and retailers can sell the refined fuel and LPG products at these maximum prices or lower. Inspectors will be conducting checks in the upcoming weeks to ensure compliance.”

Consumers are encouraged to report any unfair trading practices, such as hoarding or overcharging by traders, to the FCCC enforcement teams by calling mobile number 8921991 or emailing helpdesk@fccc.gov.fj. Regional offices in the Western Division can be reached at 8911623 (or 9982437 for Sigatoka residents), while the Northern Division can be contacted via mobile at 8911624.
