Fuel Prices Shift: What’s Behind the Latest Changes?

There has been a minor increase in the prices of certain fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products effective today, September 1, 2024. The price of Motor Spirit has risen by three cents, now costing $2.90 per litre, while the price of premix has gone up by one cent to $2.72 per litre.

Conversely, the price of diesel has decreased by two cents, bringing it down to $2.52 per litre, and kerosene also sees a reduction of two cents, now priced at $1.95 per litre.

Additionally, a 4.5kg LPG cylinder is now available for $14.86 after a 13-cent increase, while the price of a 12kg cylinder has risen by 35 cents, reaching $39.63. Bulk gas is priced at $3.06 following a three-cent increase, and autogas now costs $2.15 per litre, also reflecting a three-cent rise.
