Fuel prices are set to decrease slightly starting tomorrow. The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has announced new regulated prices for Unleaded Petrol (Motor Spirit), Premix, Kerosene, Diesel, and LPG products for October 2024.
According to the Commission, these prices will be effective from Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The prices established by the FCCC represent the maximum wholesale and retail rates. Wholesalers and retailers can sell these refined fuel and LPG products at or below these authorized prices. Compliance checks will be conducted by inspectors in the upcoming weeks.
Consumers are encouraged to report any unfair trading practices, including hoarding or overcharging by sellers, to the FCCC enforcement teams via mobile at 8921991 or by email at helpdesk@fccc.gov.fj.
