Fuel prices are set to decrease starting tomorrow, Friday, November 1, 2024, while there will be an increase in the prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products.
Specifically, the cost of motor spirit will drop from $2.73 per litre to $2.62, and the price of premix fuel will see a reduction of 12 cents, falling from $2.55 to $2.43 per litre. Kerosene will decrease in price from $1.79 to $1.67 per litre, while diesel will also see a decline, dropping 15 cents from $2.33 to $2.18 per litre.
Conversely, the price of gas will rise slightly. A 4.5kg cylinder of gas will now be priced at $14.97 following a 17-cent increase, and the cost of a 12kg cylinder will increase from $39.46 to $39.91. Additionally, bulk gas will see a price adjustment from $3.04 to $3.08 per kg, marking a 4-cent increase, and autogas will rise by 2 cents, going from $2.14 to $2.16 per litre.
These changes reflect ongoing fluctuations in market conditions, and although fuel prices are trending down, it is essential for consumers to prepare for higher costs when it comes to LPG. Overall, the decline in fuel prices may provide some financial relief for drivers and businesses reliant on these fuels, contributing positively to daily transportation costs.
