Starting from Friday, November 1, 2024, consumers will experience a drop in fuel prices across the board, which is expected to provide some financial relief for motorists. The price of motor spirit will decrease from $2.73 to $2.62 per litre. Additionally, the price of premix fuel will decline by 12 cents, bringing it down from $2.55 to $2.43 per litre. Kerosene will also see a reduction, falling from $1.79 to $1.67 per litre, and diesel prices will drop by 15 cents, down from $2.33 to $2.18 per litre.

Conversely, the prices for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products are set to rise. A 4.5kg gas cylinder will now be priced at $14.97, reflecting a 17-cent increase. Similarly, the cost of a 12kg gas cylinder will go up from $39.46 to $39.91. Furthermore, bulk gas prices will increase by 4 cents, pushing the price from $3.04 to $3.08 per kg, and autogas will see a slight increase of 2 cents, going from $2.14 to $2.16 per litre.

This adjustment in fuel prices signals a positive development for consumers who rely on motor fuels for their daily transport needs. While the increase in LPG prices may be discouraging, the overall decrease in fuel prices provides a silver lining, potentially easing the financial burden for households and individuals dependent on these essential resources.
