Fuel Company Spreads Holiday Cheer with New Gift Drive

Pacific Energy is launching a charitable initiative by placing collection bins from Atpack Fiji Ltd at eight prominent service station locations throughout Fiji. This effort, in collaboration with the Pacific Recycling Foundation, seeks to enhance the Christmas gift and stationery drive aimed at assisting children from families engaged in the Collection Pillars of Recycling (CPR) program.

The CPR initiative plays a crucial role in supporting households that collect recyclables from dumps and public areas, often under difficult circumstances. These families significantly contribute to Fiji’s recycling and waste management efforts, promoting environmental sustainability.

Stephane Cadel, the CEO of Pacific Energy, expressed pride in continuing this partnership with the Pacific Recycling Foundation for the second consecutive year. He highlighted the expansion of the program’s outreach by placing collection bins at eight service stations, allowing customers to donate and assist the children of these dedicated families.

Cadel emphasized the drive’s goal of spreading holiday cheer by providing essential school supplies and gifts to children who may lack access to these basic necessities. He reinforced Pacific Energy’s commitment to community engagement, stating that true partnership extends beyond commerce—it’s about shared values and community connection.

The collection bins will be situated at Pacific Energy service stations in Nabua, Kinoya, Nausori, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba. The deadline for gift donations is Wednesday, December 4.
