Vasemaca Ratusaitadra has achieved a significant milestone in his academic journey, earning his degree from the University of the South Pacific. This accomplishment comes after five years of dedication and perseverance, having started his studies in 2019.
Originally from Nasegai, Ravitaki, Kadavu, and now residing in Vanuadina, Tokatoka, Tailevu, Vasemaca expressed gratitude to his family for their support throughout his educational endeavors. He emphasized that his success was a result of making the right decisions and fulfilling responsibilities.
Vasemaca is one of six students who received prestigious degrees from the USP this week. He described this accomplishment as a strong example for peer students, encouraging them to pursue their studies with determination.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and lacking access to a laptop for completing his assignments, Vasemaca remained resilient. He continues to plan for his future career while also committing to furthering his education.
He advises his peers to maintain a positive mindset and not to be easily discouraged by setbacks. Instead, he encourages them to leave their worries in God’s hands and to remember and honor their parents who have supported them in their educational pursuits.
