Vasemaca Ratusaitadra has highlighted the importance of perseverance in achieving one’s dreams. He made this statement during a graduation ceremony at the University of the South Pacific, where he received his Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management on Saturday.
Celebrating a significant milestone, Ratusaitadra expressed joy in receiving the fruits of his five-year educational journey. He began his studies in 2019 and recently earned his degree.
Originating from Nasegai, Ravitaki, Kadavu, and residing in Vanuadina, Tokatoka, Tailevu, Ratusaitadra attributes his success to hard work and commitment. He acknowledged the support of his family, which played a vital role in his academic achievements.
Ratusaitadra was one of six top graduates from his program at the university. He emphasized that his journey serves as an inspiration for fellow students to pursue their education diligently, especially during challenging times.
Despite facing difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic, including a lack of a laptop and moments of self-doubt, Ratusaitadra managed to overcome these obstacles with determination. He plans to continue building on his education and aims for future success.
He encouraged his peers to maintain resilience and to keep striving for their goals, reminding them of the importance of faith and the support of their elders in achieving their educational aspirations.
