Simran Chandra, a 43-year-old market vendor in Tavakubu, has successfully built her business over the past eight years while bravely facing the challenges of breast cancer and managing two market stalls. Ms. Chandra began her entrepreneurial journey by selling pineapples on the street, gradually expanding her enterprise to become a well-respected market vendor in Lautoka. Her story resonates deeply within the community of dedicated women vendors, showcasing their hard work and determination.
