Spread the love

Nataliyah Taga, a determined 19-year-old from Caukadrove, is making waves as she pursues her degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at Fiji National University. Encouraged by her aunt, the owner of Lei Entertainers, Nataliyah decided to participate in this year’s Coral Coast Festival under the title of Miss Lei Entertainers. She shared that while she has a vibrant personality, she often feels shy in social situations. This contest represents a significant opportunity for her to build confidence and become more outspoken.

With the festival’s theme focused on “Breaking the Waves of Addiction,” Nataliyah is using her platform to promote the importance of family time, reflecting on her own upbringing. Raised by a single mother as the youngest of six siblings, she experienced both challenges and a strong familial bond that provided her with support and happiness. Although their resources were limited, the love and unity in her family prevailed as the most valuable assets.

Nataliyah’s journey through education has seen her attend multiple schools, including Christian Mission Fellowship Primary School and Sigatoka Methodist School, eventually graduating from Sigatoka Andhra Sangam College. Her message is one of resilience and courage, as she encourages others, particularly those who feel shy or introverted, to step outside their comfort zones, embrace confidence, and express themselves.

This inspiring story highlights the power of family support and personal growth. Nataliyah’s advocacy not only encourages self-expression but also underscores the importance of family connections in overcoming life’s challenges. Her journey serves as a hopeful reminder to all that it’s possible to break free from shyness and inspire others along the way.
