Nilesh Karan, a senior loan officer at the Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF), is embarking on a new chapter in his life as he transitions to a career in law. Recently graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Fiji, Karan has spent the last 19 years with SCGF and previously gained legal experience in various law firms and financial institutions.
Karan’s shift to law was prompted by his background in civil and litigation matters, as well as his desire to further his education. Balancing his studies, work, and family life was a significant challenge he faced during his seven years of law school, but he managed to succeed through careful planning and dedication.
