Private Anthony Pesamino faced a significant turning point in his life when he discovered that the veterinary program he aspired to study at Fiji National University had been discontinued. Initially disheartened by this setback, he found himself at a crossroads and made the bold decision to enlist in the military.
Reflecting on his experience, Private Pesamino acknowledged that entering the military represented a profound change in his life. Despite being new to the field, he persevered and applied alongside other aspiring recruits. His determination paid off as he successfully completed 18 months of rigorous training at the military training ground in Nasinu.
