The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-14 rugby team has embraced principles of discipline, humility, and respect throughout their Vodafone Deans Trophy campaign. This was highlighted by team manageress Eta Vakalutugone during a discussion with SUNsports following their 13-0 victory over Marist Brothers High School in the semi-finals.
“We dedicate our semi-final win to the RKS Under-18 and Under-19 teams,” she expressed. “We are incredibly grateful to have reached the final.”
Vakalutugone also thanked the support received from teachers, parents, and alumni. “We aim to build on our performance for the final. The unity among the players has been the team’s strength.”
She recognized that their upcoming match against the Mahatma Ghandi Memorial (MGM) team would present a significant challenge.
