Vasemaca Ratusaitadra recently celebrated a significant milestone after receiving a scholarship during a ceremony at the University of the South Pacific on a Saturday. This event marks a moment of joy for Ratusaitadra, who has been dedicated to his studies for the past five years.
He began his studies in 2019 and has now been awarded a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management. Ratusaitadra hails from Nasegai in Ravitaki, Kadavu, and has roots in Vanuadina, Tokatoka, Tailevu. He attributes his achievement to hard work and commitment, thanking his family for their support throughout his educational journey.
Six other students also received scholarships, setting a strong example for their peers to pursue their studies diligently. Despite facing challenges, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic when he lacked a laptop to complete assignments, Ratusaitadra persevered.
He intends to continue working hard and advancing his education while encouraging others not to lose hope or be discouraged by setbacks. Ratusaitadra emphasizes the importance of keeping faith and remembering those who have supported their educational pursuits.
