The New England Free Jacks have announced the signing of Fijian Drua prop Jone Koroiduadua. The 25-year-old, who hails from Nalebaleba in Nadroga, joined the Drua at the start of the 2022 season after spending two years with the French Top 14 club Clermont.

In a statement, the Free Jacks emphasized that Koroiduadua will significantly enhance their front row as they look to build on their recent achievements and strive for continued success in Major League Rugby (MLR). “The highly regarded prop represents one of Fiji’s most promising talents and will introduce an unmatched level of power and physicality to the Free Jacks’ front row,” the statement noted.

Koroiduadua comes with a strong rugby background, having played over 20 matches for the Fijian Drua across three seasons of Super Rugby Pacific. He has also gained international experience with two caps for the Flying Fijians, including a selection for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Weighing in at 255 pounds, Koroiduadua is recognized as a formidable athlete effective in collisions, making him a valuable addition to the Free Jacks’ forward pack.
